With the SEC winning back-to-back championships and three in the last five seasons starting with LSU's 2003 title, it's easy to argue that it is the best conference in college football.
Coaches Steve Spurrier (South Carolina), Urban Meyer (Florida), Les Miles (LSU), Nick Saban (Alabama, but won title at LSU) and Phillip Fulmer (Tennessee) have all won national championships, and Tommy Tuberville led Auburn to a 13-0 record.

Mack trucks and cranes block the roads, debris renders sidewalks useless, an ever-present layer of dust hangs in the air, and high-rise complexes grow like weeds on every corner. West Campus has become a modern-day Babylon with new buildings cropping up one after the next.

No one can blame former Texas football coach David McWilliams and swimming coach Jill Sterkel if they didn't want to come back to Texas. Both experienced the highest of highs as Longhorn athletes who became head coaches at their alma mater. And both ended their coaching careers on low notes, with McWilliams resigning after a 5-6 season and the popular Sterkel being dismissed after leading the women's swimming team to 13 top-10 finishes, including second place in 1994.

I don't know how else to say it: "The Happening" is absolutely, from start to finish, a disaster. And I am a fan of M. Night Shyamalan. I loved "The Sixth Sense" and "Signs," and I've never been afraid to defend "The Village." However, "The Happening" is so ridiculous and poorly made, it's as if an entirely different director made it.
